Top Leeds companies by revenue

Leeds is a thriving and vibrant city, with an economy valued at around £21.3 billion. The city itself contributes almost a third of the economic output for the whole region. The economy is not only strong, but growing at an impressive rate. It saw an increase of 34% over the last ten years, and is expected to grow by a further 21% during the next decade.

Productivity levels are also extremely high in Leeds. GVA for each employee currently sits at around £51,300 per year, or £28.90 per hour. This is the second highest GVA rate of any major city within England. It's perhaps not surprising then, that a survey from the West and North Yorkshire Chamber found an increase in business confidence across all industries.
