Liverpool is not only a thriving city in the present tense; it is also set to see great growth and a wealth of future opportunity thanks to a range of development projects. The Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) was awarded a growth fund of £230 million in 2014, with the aim of boosting the economy and creating thousands of new jobs.
The city has also set out a range of specific goals to fuel further growth in the near future, including the creation of 20,000 new businesses in 20 years, 1000 more SMEs exporting from the area by 2020 and an additional 500 SMEs injecting cash into research and development by 2030.
