Stoke-on-Trent is set to enjoy a range of investments and regeneration projects within the next few years. This includes £10 million invested into the Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone, creating more than 500 new jobs. Almost 1000 new homes are also in the pipeline, and a Local Plan that sets out development plans for the city to improve infrastructure and housing in order to prepare for the expected population increase of 50,000.
In the wider area of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, around £2 billion investment has been planned. The developments will be across the retail, office and manufacturing sectors, and are expected to create over 30,000 new jobs for the region.
