As the only city in Cornwall, Truro is set to enjoy investment from the LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership) £198 million fund for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The goals for this investment includes encouraging businesses in the marine and renewable energy sectors, and the creation of 700 senior occupations by 2020.
